Itinerary

Starting on Mt. Scopus with the stunning view of Jerusalem skyline, we begin this adventure of Old and New Jerusalem. In the distance we can see the surreal view of the golden dome called the Dome of the Rock located in the Temple Mount in the Old City. Down the mountain is the stunning 3,000-year-old Jewish cemetery and we witness the ancient tombs of the Kidron Valley, passing the Garden of Gethsemane along with the Church of All Nations.

Following the tour we proceed to the Jewish Quarter where we witness Cardo – a 1,500-year-old street from the Byzantine era filled with stores that are held there since the Crusades.

We continue to the Western Wall, an only remaining part of the originald Second Holy Jewish Temple that has been destructed in 70AD holding a magnificant cause – to this day this Wall is used for holding various prayer notes in its stones that you yourself can place.

We finish our path to the Sacred Church of the Holy Sepulchre taking the legendary Via Dolorosa, on which Jesus himself carried his cross towards Calvary. The ancient church dates back to the 4th century AD and holds the crucifixion site as well as the tomb of Jesus, the church also holds more than 30 chapels along with precious religious relics. We stop for a lunch break before we head to the Old City’s Middle Eastern bazaar before our way through the new part of Jerusalem which holds many modern structers.

We make our final stop at Yad VaShem Holocaust Museum where we witness history – authentic artifacts and documents alongside with photographs and video testemonies od those who have survived this sad period and also memorials to those who did lose their lives.
